RetireCo was founded by Matthew T. McGonigle, owner of The MTM Financial Group, has over a decade of experience working almost exclusively on the marketing and sales of fixed life insurance and retirement products.

In 2001, predecessor MTM Retirement Resources, Inc., a BBB A+ rated company, began offering investment life insurance products through licensed representatives and strategic partners in over forty states. First Descent Financial Marketing was later created and for years it has been assisting insurance carriers in the development of both compliant marketing and actual life insurance products for consumers, independent agents, and financial advisors.
